There’s a new combination vegetable chopper available and here is my quick take on it! I love anything that can make my life in the kitchen easier and this caught my eye. I am constantly chopping and slicing vegetables and a kitchen tool that can multitask has some appeal if it can simplify or quicken food prep. Here are my thoughts and concerns to help you make an educated decision.Â
Things that intrigue me:
- The idea of one tool that can chop, slice, and shred would be clutch in the home kitchen
- Stainless steel blades should last a good long while if cared for properly
- A very favorable price point. The price on this has fluctuated recently so you may be able to get a good deal on it
- Prime Shipping (if you have it)
- Versatility – this thing looks like it can do almost anything 😂
My Concerns:
- Long term durability for this combination vegetable chopper the big one for me. If this is going to see occasional (a few times a year) use, then you will probably be just fine. It’s a new product so whether it will hold up to daily or weekly use remains to be seen.
- Cleaning – There is nothing that specifically discusses use or not of a dishwasher. Top rack washing is probably fine, but I couldn’t find anything that promotes or forbids dishwasher use.Â
